IntelliSmart Wins MP Smart Meter Project

New Delhi, Apr 20 (PTI) IntelliSmart Infrastructure on Monday said it has received a letter of award (LoA) for a smart metering project from Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd.

It will install 5.57 lakh smart meters across Indore and Ujjain under the project, the company said in a statement.

With this win, IntelliSmart has expanded its footprint into a new state, Madhya Pradesh, it stated.


The company's pan-India order book has now grown to 2.28 crore smart meters, making it one of the largest in the industry.

Anil Rawal, MD & CEO of IntelliSmart, said in the statement, "We are confident that this project will play a pivotal role in accelerating Madhya Pradesh's energy transformation under the RDSS (Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme) framework, and we look forward to partnering with MPPKVVCL in this important journey."

India aims to install 25 crore smart meters by 2028 under the RDSS.
