Jaipur power discom (JVVNL) ensures uninterrupted electricity supply to industrial units. Meetings, quick resolutions, and new connections.

Jaipur, May 28 (PTI) Jaipur's power distribution company JVVNL has asked its officials to hold regular meetings with industry operators and fast-track the resolution of electricity-related issues to ensure uninterrupted supply to their units.
Superintending engineers of all operation and maintenance circles under the Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) will hold monthly meetings with representatives of industrial associations to ensure quick resolution of issues faced by entrepreneurs, officials said on Thursday.
These meetings will focus on bringing transparency in the process of providing electricity connections, eliminating delays and ensuring uninterrupted power supply in industrial areas, an official said.
Applications for new industrial connections will be reviewed during the meetings to assess their status and identify reasons behind delays, if any. Technical and administrative hurdles in pending applications will also be examined for early resolution.
"Feedback from industrialists regarding issues such as power tripping, low voltage and other technical problems in industrial areas would also be taken to improve supply," the official said.
The discom management said the initiative would help establish direct communication between industries and the power utility and facilitate prompt resolution of issues related to electricity connections, supply and billing.
