LIC Branches Open March 31 for Premium Payments

LIC branches will remain open on March 31, a public holiday, to facilitate insurance premium deposits for policyholders. IRDAI advisory followed.
New Delhi, Mar 30 (PTI) Branches of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) across the country will remain open on March 31 to help policyholders deposit their insurance premiums.
March 31 is a public holiday on account of Mahavir Jayanti.
Normal operations as per official working hours on Tuesday would be there to avoid any hardship to policyholders, LIC said in a statement.
This is in accordance with the advisory issued by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) dated March 25, 2026, it said.
March 31 is a public holiday on account of Mahavir Jayanti.
