Lupin launches generic dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets in the US after USFDA approval.
New Delhi, Apr 22 (PTI) Pharma major Lupin Ltd on Wednesday announced the launch of its generic version of anti-diabetic medicine dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets in the US following approval by the country's health regulator.
The launched Dapagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets in the US are of strengths 5 mg/500 mg, 5 mg/1,000 mg, 10 mg/500 mg, 10 mg/1,000 mg, Lupin said in a regulatory filing.
The launch follows the approval for the company's abbreviated new drug application from the USFDA as bioequivalent to Xigduo XR, the company said.
