Maruti Suzuki: Advanced Manufacturing Lab in Haryana

New Delhi, May 26 (PTI) Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) on Tuesday said it has set up an Advanced Manufacturing Lab at Government ITI, Hassangarh, Rohtak district of Haryana.

The Advanced Manufacturing Lab (AML), aligned with the Government of India's Skill India mission, will help students of ITI, Hassangarh, to gain industry-relevant skills and support the development of a future-ready workforce, said a joint statement .


The initiative, part of Maruti Suzuki's CSR-led skill development programme, aims to train around 200 students in the first year, it added.

The AML replicates real-world shop-floor environments and offers hands-on training in critical areas of automobile manufacturing, including assembly, welding, painting, machining, mechatronics, and safety.

The programme is designed to enhance students' technical competence, industry readiness, and overall employability.
