Murae Organisor Ltd secures Rs 297 crore in supply orders for agricultural commodities. Expansion into agri-processing and FMCG sectors.

New Delhi, Aug 22 (PTI) Pharmaceutical company Murae Organisor Ltd on Friday said that its newly launched agricultural division has bagged supply orders of around Rs 297 crore from multiple domestic institutional clients across FMCG, agri-processing, and commodity trade sectors.
The orders worth up to Rs 297 crore cover a wide basket of essential agricultural commodities, including mustard seeds, groundnuts and chickpeas, and will be executed in multiple tranches, the company said in an exchange filing.
The first tranche, valued at approximately Rs 57 crore, is scheduled for execution within the next 30 days, the filing stated.
Murae Organisor has lined up an investment of Rs 20-25 crore in the agri venture to set up a distillery and cultivate pomegranates in Kutch, Gujarat.
The company, which is engaged in marketing, trading and distribution of pharmaceutical formulation products, has reported a net profit of Rs 7.43 crore for the June quarter of 2025-26. Total income was Rs 12.99 crore in the first quarter of FY26.
The company aims to diversify its product offerings by venturing into the production of value-added products and strengthening its presence in the under-explored agro-industrial sector, the filing said.
