Mumbai, May 20 (PTI) Waaree Energies-backed non-bank lender Solfin Sustainable Finance on Wednesday announced raising Rs 280 crore from an unnamed investor.

The lender founded by two bankers in 2022 has also turned profitable within its first full year of operations, according to a statement.

* Mythik raises USD 5 million at USD 50 mn



Entertainment company Mythik on Wednesday announced raising USD 5 million in a fresh funding round at a valuation of USD 50 million.

The new investors include Harsh Jain of Dream11, Rajat Gupta of ISB, Zubin Bharti Mittal of Bharti Mittal family office, and Ishan Sinha of Point 72, a statement said.

Information technology services company Mastek on Wednesday announced the appointment of Amit Gajwani as its chief operating officer.


Gajwani, who succeeds Prameela Kalive, joins the company from LTM, where he served as the head of Europe, the UK and Nordics, according to a statement.

Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust on Wednesday announced a tie-up with Yardi Software to launch an initiative to support 100 young entrepreneurs with mentoring and bank-linked financial assistance.

The Young Grampreneur Development Programme in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar expects Rs 5 crore in estimated loan disbursement through partner banks and to enable 1,500 direct and indirect jobs, a statement said.
