Poonawalla Fincorp reports a four-fold jump in profit after tax to Rs 255 crore in Q4. Total income rises to Rs 2,120 crore.
New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) Poonawalla Fincorp, a non-deposit-taking NBFC, on Tuesday reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 255 crore during the March quarter, marking a more than four-fold jump from the year-ago period.

The company had posted a PAT of Rs 62 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income jumped to Rs 2,120 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 1,173 crore in the year-ago period, Poonawalla Fincorp said in a regulatory filing.


Net interest income (NII) came in at Rs 1,276 crore in the January-March quarter of 2026, marking a 78.5 per cent year-on-year surge.

The company has reached an assets under management (AUM) of Rs 60,348 crore as on March 31, 2026.

"Following the successful Rs 2,500 crore capital raise through QIP (qualified institutional placement) simulated capital adequacy ratio is 20.74 per cent basis March 2026 balance sheet, providing enough headroom for growth," the company said.
