Compass Group India appoints Rahul Shinde as Managing Director. Shinde brings extensive experience from Yum! Brands and KFC Greater Asia to the role.

New Delhi, Jun 16 (PTI) Compass Group India, part of the global food catering and facilities management company Compass Group, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Rahul Shinde as its Managing Director, effective immediately.

Prior to this role, Shinde served as Chief Executive Officer of Yum! Brands and Whole Time Director at Devyani International Limited, India's largest Yum! Brands franchisee and a publicly listed company.

He has also served as General Manager for KFC Greater Asia, leading the business across Japan, Indonesia, Korea, Myanmar and Mongolia.

Shinde holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Speaking on his appointment, Shinde said, "India is one of the most dynamic and exciting markets for food and support services globally. Organisations today are reimagining workplaces, employee experiences and operational models, creating significant opportunities for innovation and value creation".
