Rajasthan Development: CM Sharma's Vision

Jaipur, Jul 23 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday said the state is scripting a new chapter of development and his government is committed to fulfilling every promise made for the state's progress.

Speaking at an event to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various development projects in the Nimbahera Agricultural Produce Market in Chittorgarh district, Sharma said that adequate budgetary allocations have been made for every assembly constituency.

He said that the "double-engine" government is taking historic decisions to transform Rajasthan into a prosperous and developed state.

Sharma said the government is working with the vision of "Viksit Bharat- Viksit Rajasthan 2047" under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Prime Minister Modi has consistently focused on issues of public concern, and the country has witnessed unprecedented transformation since 2014," he said.


Highlighting the government's priorities, Sharma said continuous decisions are being taken in the power and water sectors.

He said that the welfare of women, farmers, youth and the underprivileged remains central to the government's agenda.

"The government has set a target to generate four lakh jobs in the public sector and six lakh in the private sector during its five-year term," he added.

During the event, the chief minister virtually inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs 475 crore in the Nimbahera constituency.

After the event, Sharma made an unscheduled stop at a tea shop at Ahimsa Circle in Nimbahera, where he interacted with local residents and youths.

He also used UPI (unified payment interface) to pay for the tea.
