SICCI Explores Sri City Investment Prospects
Chennai, Jul 5 (PTI) A 22-member delegation from the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) explored business opportunities during their visit to the neighbouring state's Sri City Special Economic Zone, officials said on Saturday.

During their visit on July 4, officials at Sri City explained the robust infrastructure, strategic location, and investor-friendly ecosystem available for entrepreneurs to establish operations in the industrial zone.

Sri City AVP (Business Development) Bodgan George, in his remarks, highlighted the presence of 235 companies from 31 countries operating within Sri City. He invited industry leaders to consider launching their operations in the business hub.

Sri City Founder and Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy said that the presence of SICCI, which plays a vital role in shaping South India's business landscape, is "highly valuable".

"Their feedback will help us make Sri City a preferred destination not just for large industries, but also for small and medium enterprises," he said in a press release.

Elangovan Rajasekar, Director of city-based Mentor Infocomm India, who was part of the 22-member SICCI delegation, said the team was thoroughly impressed by the infrastructure available to businesses at Sri City and the overall pro-industry atmosphere.

The delegation also visited manufacturing facilities of various companies, including Blue Star Ltd and MSR Garments, during the trip, the release added.
