Silver Futures Decline: Prices Fall Rs 340/kg

Silver prices fell Rs 340 to Rs 87,191 per kg on Tuesday as participants reduced their bets. Analysts attribute the decline to sell-offs at existing levels in the market. Global silver prices also decreased.

New Delhi, Dec 31 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday fell Rs 340 to Rs 87,191 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 340 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 87,191 per kg in a business turnover of 33,212 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.43 per cent lower at USD 28.82 per ounce in New York.
