New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell by Rs 1,062 to Rs 2,29,795 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 1,062, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 2,29,795 per kg in a business turnover of 846 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, the white metal was trading 1.35 per cent higher at USD 60.78 per ounce in New York.
