Silver Futures Decline to Rs 2.49 Lakh/kg on MCX

New Delhi, Jun 17 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell by Rs 959 to Rs 2,49,146 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery declined by Rs 959, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 2,49,146 per kg in a business turnover of 673 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, the white metal was trading 0.04 per cent lower at USD 69.99 per ounce in New York.
