Silver Futures Drop on Reduced Bets - PTI
Silver prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Friday as participants reduced their bets. Analysts attribute the decline to selling pressure at existing levels.
New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday fell Rs 68 to Rs 95,520 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 68 or 0.07 per cent to Rs 95,520 per kg in a business turnover of 23,552 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.14 per cent higher at USD 32.22 per ounce in New York.
