Silver Futures Ease on Profit Booking

Silver prices declined by Rs 161 to Rs 1,09,811 per kg on profit booking. Multi Commodity Exchange silver contracts also decreased. Global silver trading was lower in New York.
New Delhi, Aug 1 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday declined by Rs 161 to Rs 1,09,811 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery decreased Rs 161, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 1,09,811 per kilogram in a business turnover of 20,541 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.23 per cent lower at USD 36.63 per ounce in New York.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery decreased Rs 161, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 1,09,811 per kilogram in a business turnover of 20,541 lots.
