Silver Futures Fall on MCX to Rs 2.26 Lakh/kg

New Delhi, Aug 6 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday fell by Rs 792 to Rs 2,26,792 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 792, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 2,26,792 per kg in a business turnover of 1,700 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading 0.73 per cent down at USD 61.59 per ounce in New York.
