Silver Futures Fall: Prices Drop 0.57%

Silver futures declined by Rs 556 to Rs 97,270 per kg due to reduced bets by participants. Global silver futures also saw a dip.

New Delhi, May 30 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday declined Rs 556 to Rs 97,270 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery diminished by Rs 556 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 97,270 per kilogram in a business turnover of 18,851 lots .
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
On the global front, silver futures was trading 0.74 per cent lower at USD 33.17 per ounce in New York.
