Silver Futures Plunge: Rs 103 Drop to Rs 89,118/kg

New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday fell Rs 103 to Rs 89,118 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 103 or 0.12 per cent to Rs 89,118 per kg in a business turnover of 31,304 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.35 per cent lower at USD 29.51 per ounce in New York.
