Silver Futures Plunge Rs 195: Price Drops to Rs 90,680/kg
Silver prices declined by Rs 195 on Wednesday, reaching Rs 90,680 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. The fall was attributed to a sell-off by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 18 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell Rs 195 to Rs 90,680 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 195 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 90,680 per kg in a business turnover of 28,946 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.42 per cent lower at USD 30.41 per ounce in New York.
