Silver prices fell sharply on Friday, dropping by Rs 157 to Rs 84,715 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by reduced bets from participants.
New Delhi, Aug 30 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday plunged Rs 157 to Rs 84,715 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 157 or 0.18 per cent to Rs 84,715 per kg in a business turnover of 5,514 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 0.26 per cent lower at USD 29.91 per ounce in New York.
