Silver Futures Rise on Demand - PTI

Silver prices climbed Rs 131 to Rs 92,222 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange as participants increased their bets. Global silver trading was also up.

New Delhi, Jan 22 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday climbed Rs 131 to Rs 92,222 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 131 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 92,222 per kg in a business turnover of 20,738 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.16 per cent higher at USD 31.55 per ounce in New York.
