Silver Futures Rise on Fresh Demand - PTI
Silver prices in India rose on Monday as participants increased their bets on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by fresh positions. Globally, silver prices traded lower.
New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday rose Rs 236 to Rs 93,450 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 236 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 93,450 per kg in a business turnover of 23,545 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.58 per cent lower at USD 31.12 per ounce in New York.
