New Delhi, May 22 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 475 to Rs 98,720 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery marginally grew Rs 475 or 0.48 per cent to Rs 98,720 per kg in a business turnover of 16,914 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.61 per cent lower at USD 32.44 per ounce in New York.
