Silver Futures Rise on Spot Demand: Prices Fall in India

Silver futures rose on spot demand, but prices fell in India on Thursday, as participants reduced their bets. Global silver prices were higher in New York.
New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday fell Rs 349 to Rs 91,834 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery decreased by Rs 349 or 0.38 per cent to Rs 91,834 per kg in a business turnover of 26,231 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 0.40 per cent higher at USD 31.56 per ounce in New York.
