Silver Futures Rise: Prices Increase in India

Silver futures prices in India surged by Rs 408 to Rs 1,05,325 per kg on increased investor bets. Global silver also saw a price rise.

New Delhi, Jun 25 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 408 to Rs 1,05,325 per kilogram in futures trade, as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery rose Rs 408 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 1,05,325 per kg in a business turnover of 10,034 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.19 per cent higher at USD 35.98 per ounce in New York.
