Silver Futures Rise: Prices Up Rs 252

Silver futures prices surged Rs 252 to Rs 1,13,202 per kg on Monday, driven by increased investor bets. Global prices also saw an increase.

New Delhi, Jul 21 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday rose Rs 252 to Rs 1,13,202 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery increased Rs 252 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 1,13,202 per kg in a business turnover of 18,139 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.36 per cent higher at USD 38.31 per ounce in New York.
