Silver Futures Rise: Prices Up Rs 261

Silver futures prices surged Rs 261 to Rs 1,06,241 per kg on the MCX, driven by increased investor bets and global price gains.

New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 261 to Rs 1,06,241 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery increased Rs 261 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 1,06,241 per kg in a business turnover of 8,311 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.56 per cent higher at USD 36.65 per ounce in New York.
