Silver Futures Rise: Prices Up Rs 287

Silver futures prices surged Rs 287 to Rs 1,06,684 per kg on increased investor bets. Global silver prices saw a slight dip.

New Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday rose Rs 287 to Rs 1,06,684 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery increased Rs 287 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,06,684 per kg in a business turnover of 15,249 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.15 per cent lower at USD 36.42 per ounce in New York.
