Silver Futures Rise: Prices Up Rs 63/kg

Silver futures prices surged Rs 63 to Rs 1,08,299 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Increased investor bets fueled the rise.
New Delhi, Jul 4 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday rose Rs 63 to Rs 1,08,299 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery increased Rs 63 or 0.06 per cent to Rs 1,08,299 per kg in a business turnover of 16,437 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.12 per cent lower at USD 37.04 per ounce in New York.
