New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday rose Rs 7,667 to Rs 2,36,450 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 7,667 or 3.35 per cent to Rs 2,36,450 per kg in a business turnover of 3,503 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 3.14 per cent higher at USD 75.83 per ounce in New York. PTI DR DR ANU
