Silver Futures Rise to Rs 1,06,763/kg

Silver futures prices surged Rs 471 to Rs 1,06,763 per kg on increased investor bets. Global silver also saw a price rise.
New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday rose Rs 471 to Rs 1,06,763 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery increased Rs 471 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 1,06,763 per kg in a business turnover of 16,331 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.67 per cent higher at USD 36.42 per ounce in New York.
