New Delhi, Mar 3 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday surged by Rs 532 to Rs 94,860 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 532 or 0.56 per cent to Rs 94,860 per kg in a business turnover of 19,759 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.24 per cent higher at USD 31.22 per ounce in New York.
