Silver Futures Surge on Firm Demand - PTI

Silver prices climbed Rs 1,135 to Rs 91,270 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, fueled by increased investor bets and strong global demand.
New Delhi, Nov 29 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday surged Rs 1,135 to Rs 91,270 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 1,135 or 1.26 per cent to Rs 91,270 per kg in a business turnover of 25,278 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 1.45 per cent higher at USD 30.67 per ounce in New York.
