Silver Futures Surge on Increased Demand - PTI
Silver prices rose on Monday due to increased demand, reaching Rs 91,990 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Analysts attribute the rise to fresh positions built up by participants.

New Delhi, Jan 20 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday rose Rs 388 to Rs 91,990 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 388 or 0.42 per cent to Rs 91,990 per kg in a business turnover of 20,985 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.12 per cent higher at USD 30.40 per ounce in New York.
