Silver Futures Surge on Strong Spot Demand
Silver prices climbed in India's futures market on Thursday, driven by robust spot demand and a positive domestic trend. Global silver prices also rose slightly.

New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 335 to Rs 83,900 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 335 or 0.4 per cent to Rs 83,900 per kg in 31,985 lots.
Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.
Globally, silver was trading 0.15 per cent higher at USD 28.60 per ounce in New York.
