Silver Futures Surge: Price Jumps to Rs 95,656/kg

Silver prices soared on the Multi Commodity Exchange, reaching Rs 95,656 per kg due to increased investor interest. Global silver also saw gains, trading higher in New York.

New Delhi, Apr 21 (PTI) Silver prices on Monday jumped Rs 619 to Rs 95,656 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose Rs 619 or 0.65 per cent to Rs 95,656 per kg in a business turnover of 14,898 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.72 per cent higher at USD 32.79 per ounce in New York.
