Silver Futures Surge: Price Rises to Rs 91,280/kg

Silver prices climbed by Rs 470 on Tuesday, reaching Rs 91,280 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Increased investor bets fueled the rise.
New Delhi, Dec 3 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday rose Rs 470 to Rs 91,280 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased by Rs 470 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 91,280 per kg in a business turnover of 25,746 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.41 per cent higher at USD 30.63 per ounce in New York.
