Silver Futures Surge: Price Rises to Rs 91,937/kg
Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose Rs 226 to Rs 91,937 per kilogram on Friday, driven by increased buying activity.
New Delhi, Jan 10 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday rose Rs 226 to Rs 91,937 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery increased Rs 226 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 91,937 per kg in a business turnover of 22,496 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.40 per cent higher at USD 30.25 per ounce in New York.
