Silver Futures Surge: Prices Jump Rs 859 per Kg
Silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged Rs 859 to Rs 97,115 per kg on Wednesday, driven by increased investor interest. Global silver prices also rose.

New Delhi, Mar 5 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday surged Rs 859 to Rs 97,115 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery rose by Rs 859 or 0.89 per cent to Rs 97,115 per kg in a business turnover of 19,331 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.62 per cent higher at USD 32.17 per ounce in New York.
