Silver Futures Surge: Prices Rise to ₹1,08,269/kg

Silver futures prices jumped ₹751 to ₹1,08,269 per kg on increased investor bets. Global silver also saw a price rise.

New Delhi, Jul 3 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 751 to Rs 1,08,269 per kilogram in futures trade as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery increased Rs 751 or 0.7 per cent to Rs 1,08,269 per kg in a business turnover of 16,331 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.76 per cent higher at USD 37.01 per ounce in New York.
