Silver Futures Surge: Prices Rise to Rs 97,919/kg

New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 377 to Rs 97,919 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery increased Rs 377 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 97,919 per kg in a business turnover of 19,953 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.21 per cent lower at USD 32.58 per ounce in New York.
