Silver Futures Surge Rs 683 to Rs 97,089/kg

New Delhi, Feb 20 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday surged by Rs 683 to Rs 97,089 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery rose by Rs 683 or 0.71 per cent to Rs 97,089 per kg in a business turnover of 18,690 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.
Globally, silver was trading 0.18 per cent higher at USD 32.87 per ounce in New York.
