South West Pinnacle Bags Rs 30 cr Oman Mining Contract

New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) South West Pinnacle Exploration Ltd on Friday said it has bagged approximately Rs 30 crore contract for exploration and mining of minerals like gold in Oman.

The company has bagged the project from Minerals Development Oman (MDO).

The contract is to be executed over a period of approximately two years, the company said in a regulatory filing.


"South West Pinnacle Exploration Ltd, through its joint venture company Alara Resources LLC (ARL) Oman, has been awarded an exploration and mining contract for exploration and mining of minerals viz, Copper, Gold, & Chromite in concession area 12 B and 13 in Oman," the filing said.

Minerals Development Oman is the product of a strategic partnership between Oman Investment Authority and Oman National Investments Development Company(TANMIA), with the principal mandate to drive the monetisation of Oman's mineral resources.

South West Pinnacle Exploration Ltd is a private exploration services company which operates in mineral and unconventional energy resources.
