Switch Mobility Secures 650 E-Bus Order for Mumbai & Pune

Switch Mobility, Hinduja Group''s electric bus maker, secured an order for 650 e-buses from Sai Green Projects for public transport in Mumbai & Pune.
New Delhi, Jul 30 (PTI) Hinduja Group electric bus maker Switch Mobility on Thursday said it has secured an order for 650 electric buses from Sai Green Projects Pvt Ltd.
The order will support public transport deployment across Mumbai and Pune under the government of India's PM E-Drive Phase II tender, the company said in a statement.
"The deployment of 650 electric buses is a significant step towards India's ambition to reduce emissions, improve operating economics, and modernise public transport systems," Switch Mobility CEO Ganesh Mani said.
He added, "With a growing product portfolio, we are well positioned to support the evolving mobility requirements of cities across India."
Sai Green Projects Pvt Ltd CEO Vikas Gupta said,"We are confident that these electric buses will enhance the everyday experience of commuters in Mumbai and Pune."
