New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) Physical AI startup SwitchOn, which focuses on quality inspection in manufacturing, has raised USD 8 million (Rs 78 crore) in a funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.

The Pre-Series B funding round also saw participation from SIG Tattva and Trifecta Capital, the company said in a statement.

SwitchOn (Abee Research Labs Pvt Ltd) plans to deploy the capital to accelerate the company's international expansion, deepen R&D in next-generation Physical AI, and scale its go-to-market capabilities across key manufacturing verticals globally.

The company integrates AI directly into manufacturing machines to deliver purpose-built VisionAI systems for the consumer packaged goods, electronics, automotive, and pharma industries.

SwitchOn clients include Unilever, Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, and ALPA that have deployed its technology across more than 170 production lines in over 60 manufacturing facilities across four continents, according to the statement.
