Telangana Invites BrahMos Aerospace Expansion

Hyderabad, Jun 18 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday urged top officials of BrahMos Aerospace to expand the company's footprint in the state.


The BrahMos Aerospace team, including its MD and CEO Jaiteerth R. Joshi, Hyderabad Executive Director Surampudi Sambasiva Prasad, DRDL Director G.A. Srinivasa Murthy, paid a courtesy visit to the CM, an official release said.


During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the potential for the establishment of a Defence Corridor between Hyderabad and Bengaluru, it said.



The CM also noted that several Defence organisations already have units in Hyderabad and pitched Telangana as the best destination for investments in the country.


Reddy assured the BrahMos Aerospace of full support from the state government for any future expansion plans in Hyderabad and Telangana.


The delegation responded positively to the CM invite for expansion, the release added.
