TVS Motor reports a 25% surge in March sales, reaching 5,19,358 units. Strong growth in two-wheelers, scooters, and electric vehicle sales.
TVS Motor Sales Up 25% in March; 5,19,358 Units
Mumbai, Apr 1 (PTI) TVS Motor on Wednesday said its total sales surged 25 per cent to 5,19,358 units in March 2026 as against 4,14,687 units in the same month last year.

Domestic two-wheelers registered a growth of 25 per cent with sales increasing from 2,97,622 units in March 2025 to 3,72,383 units last month. Motorcycle sales increased 18 per cent to 2,32,788 units from 1,96,734 units in March 2025, it said.

Scooter sales rose 31 per cent rise to 2,17,624 units in March 2026 from 1,66,297 units a year ago, the company said.

Its electric vehicle sales were up 44 per cent year-on-year at 38,877 units in March 2026.


The company's total international business sales for the month under review stood at 1,41,443 units as against 1,13,464 units in March 2025, registering a growth of 25 per cent year-on-year. Of this, two-wheeler sales grew 23 per cent, from 1,02,498 units in March 2025 to 1,25,751 units last month.

Three-wheeler sales registered a growth of 46 per cent -- from 14,567 units in March 2025 to 21,224 units last month.

For full year 2025-26, the company said it logged 24 per cent rise in sales from 47.44 lakh units in FY 2024-25 to 58.89 lakh units last fiscal. Two-wheeler sales were up 23 per cent to 56.70 lakh units from 46.09 lakh units.

Three-wheeler sales registered a growth of 63 per cent year-on-year to 2.19 lakh units in the previous fiscal.

Total exports registered a growth of 33 per cent, from 11.95 lakh units in FY 2024-25 to 15.85 lakh units last fiscal year, TVS Motor said.
