Hyderabad, May 13 (PTI) Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi on Wednesday informed Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy that the company is expanding its Centre of Excellence here.
While meeting the CM, he also said that the company's Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad currently employs 600 engineers.

The chief minister noted that vehicle parking has emerged as a huge issue in the country's major cities, which is likely to intensify in the future. He advised the Uber representatives to focus on setting up multi-level parking facilities, it said.
Responding to the CM's suggestion to establish parking facilities alongside EV charging centres, the Uber delegation assured that the company would conduct a study on this particular issue, it said.
CM Revanth Reddy explained to the Uber delegation that the 'Bharat Future City' is being developed across 30,000 acres. The state government was already inviting 500 world-renowned companies to have a presence in the Future City.
