Lucknow, Mar 29 (PTI) The Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on Sunday inaugurated Udaan Yatri Cafe virtually at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) here.

The cafe located in the check-in hall of Terminal 3, offers snacks and beverages starting at Rs 10, providing passengers with low-cost refreshment options, an official statement issued here said.

The initiative aligns with the government's objective of enhancing affordability in aviation and complements the Udan (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) Programme, it said.

Speaking on the occasion, Naidu said, "As we inaugurate the cafe today, we take a meaningful step towards improving every day travel experience for our passengers. The cafe reflects our commitment to making air travel more inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the aspirations of a modern and growing India."

He further said, "By ensuring the availability of essential food and beverage items such as water, refreshments, snacks, and sweets at affordable prices, this initiative addresses a fundamental passenger need."

"This initiative has been undertaken with the objective of making airport services more accessible and affordable for passengers. With the launch of the Udaan Yatri Cafe, passengers can now enjoy high-quality refreshments at prices that align with the government's mission to make flying more inclusive," said a CCSIA spokesperson.
